David Beeney

David Beeney, Founder of Breaking the Silence has established himself as one of the leading advisers on how to drive employee engagement through an effective wellbeing programme and is proud to have been listed in the top 101 influencers globally on how to create kinder work cultures.

David speaks with great credibility about mental health as he suffered in silence with his own struggles for over 30 years. He has been a qualified counsellor for the past eight years.

David works bespoke with all of his clients depending on where they are on their wellbeing journey. Helping employers to discover the direct link between employee wellbeing and energy.

David is at the leading edge of understanding how you create a greater understanding of mental health in the workplace and how investment in the education of your staff will give you a return on investment.


Gamiel Yafai 

Gamiel Yafai is an engaging, passionate Diversity & Inclusion Strategist, CEO of a multi-award-winning DE&I Consultancy called Diversity Marketplace, proud Global Diversity Leadership Award recipient and winner of 3 Awards including ‘Business of the Year’ at the MKBAA. Author of “Demystifying Diversity” and “Yemen Proud”, Gamiel works with world-leading employers to attract diverse talent and support existing employees to realise their potential by supporting positive, inclusive cultures. 

His global expertise spans D&I strategy, culture change and talent initiatives that empower organisations and people to thrive. 

Gamiel is also a Trustee of Women Leaders UK, a founding member of the Milton Keynes Business Community and a Global Advisory Board member of The Inclusion Foundation.

Arvind Kaushal

Since joining the education sector in 2007 Arvind Kaushal has been passionate about engaging students in the learning process. He has now widened his ambitions to improve outcomes for colleagues in their career aspirations.

His current role is Head of People Development & EDI at Milton Keynes College Group. Prior to this he was a Specialist Leader in Education (specialising in Mathematics, and project management). 

His highlights have included being the programme lead for a DfE funded Equality & Diversity programme #BAMEintoLeadership, where he created a network of over 400 people passionate about making leadership in our schools more representative. He was also instrumental in creating and delivering professional development to thousands of educators in over 85 countries through the #LDeduchat series. 

He launched a third initiative called #FEVoices which focuses on inclusive practices in the further education sector. He volunteers his time and expertise to a wide range of networks and organisations, including Women Leaders UK and MK Community Foundation.

His philosophy is that sustainable solutions can only be achieved through a positive, collaborative and inclusive approach.

Come and be part of our FREE working workshop!

In this free workshop we will be guided by Mark Kunaseelan, Head of Resourcing at University of Arts London, and Nicola Texeira, highly accomplished Talent Acquisition Leader, to support us while we work together on live tasks that we have already prepared, through various AI tools and learn how to make AI work for us and reduce the time and on daily tasks in recruitment and HR.

This is an interactive, practical workshop, where we ask you to be prepared with a task that you would like to use with AI.

Mark Kunaseelan

Mark Kunaseelan is the Head of Resourcing at the University of the Arts London (UAL), a world-class university shaping the creative industries worldwide. UAL is home to a diverse community with over 6,000 staff and 22,000 students from 130 countries. Mark has spent more than a decade in Resourcing and has a significant amount of experience working in the public sector at two councils and Parliament prior to his current role.

Nicola Texeira

Nicola Texeira is an accomplished HR and recruitment professional, with many years of experience in Talent Acquisition across various industries, from retail to pharma. She excels in both generalist HR and talent acquisition, bringing a unique blend of leadership and partnership skills. Her talent lies in crafting comprehensive recruitment strategies and campaigns and effectively collaborating with leaders and HR partners. With experience in diverse roles at companies like Microsoft, AstraZeneca, and Genomics England, she brings to her work, a blend of strategic insight with a hands-on approach to talent management.
